Marine Surveys

The Marine Services team carries out condition and damage surveys for many purposes. For all inspections, a detailed inspection scope is provided prior to the inspection, which may be supplemented by special areas of concern or client’s needs.

Upon completion of the inspection, an executive summary is prepared and sent via fax or e-mail within 24 hours, followed by the full report with an extensive photographic record and relevant vessel drawings by courier. The entire report is also posted on a secure Internet site for viewing by the client from office, home or various offices. The report is accessible only by the respective client.

Class Record Reviews

We provide a detailed report containing past repairs, modifications, damages and identification of critical areas together with copies of relevant extracts from the records.

Hull Gauging Analysis

ABS Consulting conducts engineering analysis of the hull structure based upon the existing ultrasonic thickness measurement reports. This report will identify and quantify those areas that should be renewed in the near future, and will asses the potential financial impact that this will have on the investment.
